Summer has officially arrived, the sun is out, schools have broken up and many of us are thinking of our holidays...but what concerns me, is what about your yoga practise?!
So, whilst Inside Out takes it’s summer break I thought I’d better give you some ideas to keep you on the yoga path until September.
First thing to remember, is that you don’t need to do a full class type session to feel the benefit. Just 10 minutes a day will keep you flexible, relaxed or energised and your core toned. What’s your favourite posture that we do in class, what makes you feel good? That’s a great place to start.
Holidays are the perfect time to get into some yoga. Practising outside is so rejuvenating, try some yoga on your balcony, on the beach, at the top of the hill you’ve climbed or in your garden if you are staying at home.
Start by standing in the Mountain pose (Tadasana) and see where your body takes you. Take the time to be still and I promise it will move you just perfectly.

Yoga Pose Competition
Now, it’s not that I don’t believe you when you tell me that you’ve been practising between classes…however, this year I’d like photographic evidence! Inside Out is launching it’s first competition!!
I want snaps of you in your favourite yoga pose, outside on your holiday or staycation. We’re going to put them all up on an album on our Facebook page where our our page fans can vote for the winner by simply ‘Liking’ the entry they like the best. The photograph with the most ‘Likes’ by the closing date of September 30th, is the winner. You can submit up to 5 entries. And as if that’s not exciting enough – there’ll be a prize!
