Introducing Mazeena, one of Inside Out’s yoga teachers in West Yorkshire.
We asked her the same questions as our other yoga teachers. Here’s how she responded.
- How long have you been practicing yoga and how long have you been teaching?
I’ve been practicing for about 7 years, teaching for 5 (April 2017).
- What first got you into yoga?
My Mum used to go to class, I went with her once and was hooked. - What is your favourite yoga pose or practice?
I love EBR1 (Energy Block Release Sequence 1) because straight after the sequence I can feel all the stiffness dissipate from head to toe. - …and which is your least favourite?
The Wheel, as I struggle with it!
- Any other interests or hobbies? Drawing, painting, cake decorating and watching my 3 boys play football
- Can you describe one of your yoga classes in three words?
Friendly, relaxing, soothing.
- Do you have any advice for someone thinking about trying Dru Yoga for the first time?
Give it a try, and take a note of how you feel before and after the class.
