Meet Your Inside Out Yoga Tutor: Peter

Peter, Tutor at Inside Out Dru Yoga

Say hello to Peter, one of Inside Out’s yoga teachers.

We asked Peter some questions. Here’s what he said:

  1. How long have you been practising yoga and how long have you been teaching?
I’ve been practising for six years and teaching for just over two years.
  2. What first got you into yoga?
I was suffering from stress and needed a form of exercise that could help reduce it. Yoga fitted the bill.
  3. What is your favourite yoga pose or practice?
“Warrior” is my favourite pose because for me, it offers an unequaled combination of strength and poise. It really helps one to develop vitality and self-confidence.
  4. …and which is your least favourite?
  5. Any other interests or hobbies?
Anything on two wheels (within reason), financial trading and on top of going to the gym, I like most sports particularly rugby and cricket.
  6. Can you describe one of your yoga classes in three words?
    Smile, Breathe and Let-go!
  7. Do you have any advice for someone thinking about trying Dru Yoga for the first time?
I wasted too much time thinking about trying yoga. For that reason I would advise anyone to ‘just do it’, but it’s equally important to do it with an open mind.

Meet our other yoga teachers, Mazeena and Isabel.
